River Valley Inn & Suites

Location near skiing, location near dining, warm pool and hottub were all highlights for our family that wanted a small overnight trip from the cities to hit the slopes. We were the only visitors on a Sunday night which gave the whole place to ourselves. The rooms were basic but comfortable.

We needed to leave early to go to the State Fair in Minnesota so we only had coffee. I did see the breakfast service and it seemed good enough but I am an egg and bacon person. Not easily delivered in a smaller facility but the waffles and bagels, toast etc would be enough for families traveling with children. The fresh fruit was perfect.

Very clean. A little outdated but clean and comfortable. Pillows not great but I brought my own. Could use some wall patching / paint where wall decor was changed out but again... very clean and that's important!
